Roundrock Skatepark Closed/Reopened

If anyone skates at Roundrock, you know how fun that place is, despite the crowds and stuff. Recently it was closed due to vandalism/stupidity. Basically, it comes down to this, if you have brains, don’t mess stuff up/use the gate, it’s not that hard. There needs to be self-moderation, and other skaters need to watch other skaters. If you see someone doing something stupid, tell ‘em to stop, we cannot afford a bunch of stupidity, they closed it at first, what will the implement if it comes to it again?

Ribbon Cutting

Remember this? The grand opening, if we want more skateparks, we have to be able to set a good example. Let’s make this happen, as a community. Oh, and check it, that’s me chillin’ in the light blue shirt, word up!

A cultured crowd

Local skate shop “Skate Culture” has been open for a little while now in Leander, if you live in the area, you’ve probably heard of it. If you’re down for supporting local business, and the local skate scene, check ‘em out, they got all you need.

Also, watch out, they’re probably gonna be doing a demo soon, be there.

Texas “X” Park

Well, what else is there to say? It’s gonna be expensive to get into, so much for a public park. A little quote from their website “”Staff will be continuously seeking out new trendy activities.” Nestled right between the BMX dirt jumps and the Remote Control Racing area…Come on now. Take a look.. http://www.texasxpark.com
